Metalitec provides iron casting services in high and low pressures, including metallurgical and mechanical consulting, with the goal of adapting the product to its intended purpose.

We specialize in high-pressure castings of aluminum, zinc and magnesium and low-pressure castings of various steels and alloys using lost wax casting, sand and gravitation technologies.

We offer:

  1. Metallurgical and mechanical consultation - as part of the service, in all projects, you may receive metallurgical consultation aimed at adapting the product to its intended use and decreasing required costs.
  2. Project management - each project is accompanied by a team of professional engineers, from the initial development stage all the way to final production and packaging.
  3. Quality Control - Metalitec has a team of skilled quality personnel who inspects every shipment and issues reports.
  4. Lab tests – according to the customer's needs we provide laboratory tests.

Magnesium castings 

Looking for saving weight without sacrificing durability?

The solution is - magnesium.

Magnesium is more light-weight compared to aluminum and has a better strength-to-weight ratio than most metals.

The most prominent advantage of magnesium in die casting is the high accuracy, low wall thickness injection, saving in supplementary metalworking.  

In recent years, the use of magnesium has become prevalent in industry, specifically in fields where the weight of the parts/components is significant; for example, computers, mobile phones and vehicles.

Zinc casting 

Zinc is characterized by high weight, injectability for complicated geometries and small and precise parts.

When high level finishing is required, zinc is suitable for a wide range of coatings such as nickel coating.

Lost wax casting 

Wax casting is characterized by high surface finish.

It is possible to mold a wide variety of raw materials and complex geometries.

Complementary heat treating can be performed after casting.

Sand casting

Sand casting is used to produce a wide variety of metal components with complex geometries.

This technology is characterized by a relatively low cost of molds and production of small quantities. It enables casting of very large parts.

Medium surface finish.

Complementary heat treating can be performed.
